Youth Camp

 Day 2 Youth Service Camp 2022

Today the teens spent their time helping me with our youth ministry program. Events were planned out for the rest of the year, our Blue Room was organized, they decorated bulletin boards and advertised for our Talent Show this Saturday! I am just amazed at how talented all of these kids are and how extremely well they worked together.

Then we encountered our sweet Jesus at Mass again. We learned that God can mold us to create something amazing regardless of our past and our choices. We also learned why we offer each other the sign of peace at Mass and what we are really saying to each other when we do. Do YOU know why? Your teen can tell you

Next we went to Wahooz for games, rides and lunch. It is enough to say that it was a blast! I witnessed these 9 individuals really connect and include each other. God is really working within this group!

Sweet Jesus, may we continue this week to allow You to mold us as we serve our parish, grow spiritually and build community with our peers. May we see the greatness in this encounter with You and make the necessary changes in our lives to draw even closer to You.
